Our responsibilities to our owners include, but are not limited to:
- Previewing and accessing each property for any improvements that will increase the rental value.
- Advertising online and though our Multiple List Service to reach as many people as possible.
- Evaluating tenant applications
- Screening applicants by running credit checks and criminal background checks as well as communicating with past landlords.
- Holding security deposits in an escrow account.
- Issuing owner payouts via direct deposit.
- Inspecting properties periodically during the lease term.
- Taking care of repairs to be made by working with repairmen or home warranty companies.
- Collecting rent and managing late-paying tenants.
- If necessary, handling all aspects of an eviction.
- In post-lease inspections, determining what repairs tenants are responsible for.
